Expected to have a low degree of toxicity by inhalation. Effects of overexposure may include irritation of the nose and throat, transient excitation followed by signs of nervous system depression (headache, drowsiness, dizziness, loss of coordination, disorientation and fatigue).

Low degree of toxicity by ingestion. May cause irritation of the digestive tract, nausea and vomiting. Main hazard is aspiration of material into the lungs during swallowing or vomiting. This can lead to chemical pneumonitis (inflammation of the lungs) and possible death.
